However, this did not stop him from jumping in. Right as he joined he was added to a joint post that had already been started, but, he jumped in seamlessly and added security's needed presence to the log. (2O Citation) David started contributing to the posts straight away despite being dropped in mid mission and picked up the thread really well and added to the overall story line.

	Unit Award of Merit - Bronze Awarded Thursday 15 December 2016 @ 23:01 Nominated by Captain John "Apollo" Barstow, M.D.	The USS Merlin has been an oak for TG72B during the transition of a new TGCO coming in. Captain Barstow has managed to keep up with his duties as SSCO and still motivate his crew to put up great numbers and quality posts.
