Fay entered sickbay and headed straight over to Doctor Ch'rehron. "Good afternoon. We have returned as you requested."

Fay closed her eyes and when they opened, Sansa was back. "Hello Doctor. I explained to Fay that this was all routine and we wouldn't feel a thing." The hopped onto the nearest biobed and perched on the end. "Do you want to scan me first and then with Fay at the controls?"

"Whatever makes the both of you comfortable." Kyhl replied. "Doctor Nir'anyar, would you care to assist?"

"Of course!" Anya replied. Anything to get her away from paperwork so she snapped up a tricorder and moved to stand behind Sansa, allowing the Chief Medical Officer the time to interact with the patient.

"So, Sansa I've read through your medical history to familiarize myself with what your vitals should be under normal conditions. You're a very interesting young woman medically speaking."

Sansa smiled and blushed slightly. "Thank's Doc. It was a rollercoaster of a ride growing up" she added wistfully, thinking back on how at one point she had aged several years in less than an hour.

Kyhl picked up her tricorder and did an initial cursory scan. "Doctor, would you begin with an in-depth scan of the muscle and bone tissues and compare them to our baseline. Now Sansa, I'd like you to take a few deep breaths while I check your lung capacity and blood oxygen levels."

Sansa sat up a bit straighter and took several slow, deep breaths. "Having Fay in here with me has been... I don't know what to liken it to. A whole other world inside me. I don't understand it all fully but I can sense her thoughts, her memories. I can talk to her inside my head. I get glimpses of the Etheria and her natural state, of where their physical bodies reside in complete darkness but it's warm there. It's amazing."

"I'm sure it is. Let's just make sure that this experience isn't going to end up with you back here for a serious medical issue." Kyhl said as warmly as she could. After all, this was a race who could mentally torture others with their very thoughts.

"Mind you..." Sansa continued "Fay seems very reasonable. I've had to explain to her some of the basic things like eating and sleeping. She always listens and has not done anything dangerous or against my wishes. and so far I've felt no I'll effects. No pain or anything..."

"No pain at all or you feel none from the joining?" Kyhl asked skeptically. "Doctor Nir'anyar would you mind also doing a check of her nerves for acute damage as well while I finish off with a quick brain scan?"

"No pain from Fay been in here." Sansa qualified as she tapped her head. "I can still feel when I... we are hungry, thirsty, sleepy. I see and feel everything she's experiencing through my eyes, it's just like someone else is doing the piloting."

Kyhl ran the probe an inch above Sansa’s head and neck as she recorded the reading to compare with the baseline. "Almost done, and next we'd like to see Fay. It shouldn't take long and then you're free to go."

Sansa nodded "That's fine with me.. us doc. Everything looking ok?"

Kyhl smiled and nodded a little. "So far there aren't any reasons for alarm, but to be certain I'm going to compare all three scans. Better safe than sorry when dealing with the unknown."

Sansa flashed an award-winning smile. "That's good to hear Doc.

"Now, if you could let Fay 'drive' for a bit we'll get those readings and send you on your way."

"Of course Doc." She closed her eyes and when they opened again, the purple sparkle had returned.

"Sansa's health and well being are important to me Doctor. After all, she is allowing me to share her body." Fay explained in her unusually echoing voice. "Many concepts she takes for granted are new to me, like eating and sleeping but she has explained that they are necessary for her. This is the first time that one of my kind has inhabited a human host so I appreciate your vigilance. Sansa is... has become.... my friend as well.

"I'm glad to hear that. Most of our experience in this sort of thing comes from a hostile take over." Kyhl said absentmindedly as she quickly went through the next set of scans tests. With all the tools out and ready it went a bit faster than it had with Sansa and soon they were done.

"You're free to go Fay," Kyhl said as she put the tricorder down on the table.

"Thank you Doctor. I do hope everything is satisfactory and I hope to get to know you better as well." Fay looked at Anya "I'm glad you could join us on the tour this morning, your company was.... most welcomed."

She got off the biobed, inclined her head to both of them in turn and then left Sickbay.

Once the young woman had left, Kyhl looked to Doctor Nir'anyar. "Would you care to help me go over and compare the readings doctor?"

"Of course", the junior Doctor already ordering her observations into a cognitive order that would be easier to analyse along with the readings gathered by the Chief Medical Officer.
