Personal Log :: SD 239402.19 - 21:30 hrs ...

We have been informed that we will be departing on our next assignment shortly. We will be heading for Sector five five two, close to the Romulan border.

There will be opportunities for us to investigate a large nebula and a Class M planet, we already know that there could be issues with sending teams to the surface, but this is essentially what we do so I don't foresee any major issues at this stage. Melody is now fully recovered and has returned to duty, I must remember to send in my Commendation for her assistance. her skills, both on the surface, and whilst flying the shuttle undoubtedly saved all our lives and this should be recognised.

On another note: School has begun full time now and the girls are making friends, one of which is the Captains Daughter. They called on Lana and the girls and became firm friends quickly. I'm still waiting to hear what the Captain wanted to ask Lana, but she will tell me in due course I'm sure, I can only presume it involved Sierra, maybe the Captain wanted to ensure Sierra was looked after during the times he was on duty, which is great, I'm sure Kenzie and Mia would love to see more of her.

I sometimes think that life aboard a Star Ship can be hectic, and rightly so given our role within the Federation and our constant thriving to find new and interesting situations, but along with that comes the free time everyone has. I fully intend to take every opportunity to be with my Family and friends, because you never know what tomorrow may bring ...
