Getting back into the swing of things

Well, here we are again. Back onboard the Merlin. It feels good to be back and nothing really has changed much. Captain Barstow is still the same as I remember, dropping Second Officer and CSO on me almost as soon as I'd set foot onboard. And here I was thinking it was only going to be a short visit to oversee the refit Starfleet Command had ordered. Still, I'm glad Sansa will get the chance to stay in one place for a while, it just means it will be harder for her see her father regularly. Draxx..... There's another complication.

sigh Why can I never have a normal romantic life? I've had to tell Sav'ena about Draxx and...... she didn't take it too well. I thought she might be interested in him as well. Was that foolish of me? And i haven't told Draxx about Sav'ena. That's another conversation where I'm not sure how he will react. Sav wants to be in Sansa life. That's good but I want her in mine too as more than a friend. We were closer than that before. Will we..... Can we ever get back to that again? I Hope so. She is worried that I think she is screwed up but I don't think that all all. I never did. All I care about is her. At least Sansa likes Sav'ena.

Nibbles has settled back on board with no problem. That hedgehog takes everything in her stride, as long as she is well fed..... and she stays away from my shoes.

Caroline is back onboard too. It makes it a lot easier with her to talk to.

I'm meeting Sav'ena tomorrow for lunch. Lets see if we can re kindle the fire.
