Commander Melody Jones. Personal Log:

With most of our battle damage repaired, we are almost at Starbase and the end of our current mission. Unfortunately the ship could not make it under its own power, The U.S.S Apollo had to tow us. I’ve still not fully come to terms with the loss of Captain Barstow as i’m sure has many of crew. They are however, performing their duties with the same dedication and commitment that i’ve come to expect from them, as I am trying to do.
The crew looks to the captain as a source of stability. The Captain must be a rock admits the storm. When all else fails..... fake it till you make it. I must admit, i’m Looking forward to some time to decompress and spend sometime with Sansa and Draxx. I think some time on Risa is just what the Doctor ordered. I think Nibbles is feeling a bit neglected as well, must spend some more time with her too.

The ship has performed up to expectations and this layover at Starbase will include major repairs and refit before the next mission. We’ve also gains some new crew members. 3 new marines and a new chief of security. I’m sure they get settled in very nicely.

Let’s hope our next mission is a welcome change from fighting Borg cubes and artificial intelligence.
