A voice came over the comm system "Lieutenant Teague, you have a personal subspace comm link incoming."

Hamish was seated in his office, reading over the latest science article. The alert brought his head up quickly hearing the subspace "I am ready" sending the code that was needed for him to accept it. "Who could be sending me a message?" he wondered aloud.

Sansa's face appeared on the monitor. "Hello Sweetie. Just wanted to check in with you and see how you're doing. I've been assigned temporary quarters on the station until the living quarters on the planet have been established. Is Belle ok?"

"Oh a sight for sore eyes, yes, yes indeed I am okay. And as for Belle." he made a kissing sound and Belle came trotting up and gave out a yip. Hamish leaned over and picked Belle up placing her on his lap. "Here she is, decided to have her in my office for the time being. Say hello Belle." giving the dog a caress to the pup's head.

Sansa beamed a smiled at the small puppy. "Hello there. I hope you're being a good girl. I'll be back soon, don't you worry." She turned her attention back to Hamish "I know it hasn't even been a full day but I'm missing you already. So, is there anything new with you?"

"We got to check out the new slipstream engine and it was amazing, wish you were here to have experienced it. How are things going for you on that planet at the colony, um Aristaeus Colony?" Hamish asked, looking at his lovely girlfriend.

"I wish I was there too. I bet Mom was in her element. She likes going fast. I've been reviewing the preliminary sensor data that's been gathered. There is a thriving ecosystem down there on both land and under the water. There appears to be a wide range of aquatic life. It's going to be fun cataloguing it all. They should have our accommodation sorted down there shortly."

Hamish gave a nod, "That sounds great. Just be careful I don't want anything to happen to you. Though I feel you'll be at home in the water." Hamish had a wistful expression in his eyes. "We may end up having a chance to do some exploring ourselves. Who knows what we will find but I am excited. I will miss you a lot love. " he looked down at Belle, "She is going to you as well. Been looking at the door to see when you will get back home."

"Don't you worry, I'll be home as soon as I can." Sands said, then a sly smile came over her face "And just to give you something to look forward to,.." She started toying with the zip on the front of her top. "You might want to put her down, this is for your eyes only," she added in a sultry tone.

"My oh my." Hamish breathed out, gently but also quickly setting Belle off his lap and then he smiled. "You take my breath away every time I see you," Hamish said. "I can scarcely wait until you and I see each other once more."

“Well, to give you something to look forward to, the ‘twins’ here wanted to say hello..” she added in a low voice as she slowly dragged the zip down and slid her top off her shoulders revealing all.

Hamish's eyes went rather wide seeing this revelation, raising his hand up to his mouth and lightly biting his knuckle. "Oh my, you look rather sexy there, and such a tease too." giving her a rather seductive smile, "When we see each other again, I am going to be giving you such a welcome home, I'm going to have to request a couple of personal days besides the first two."

"It's a date, Mister." Sansa replied. "It's getting late here, I'll call you tomorrow. Just remember that I Love you and I can't wait for you to hold me."

"I love you as well, and let me know when you will be messaging me next, as I would like to be in our quarters when you do." Hamish gave her another seductive smile. Perhaps in some aspect could sort of have dinner together, even though we'll be separated."

"That sounds wonderful. I can't wait." She kissed her hand and pressed it to the monitor before it went blank.

Hamish gave a sigh, he was very happy seeing Sansa, and he missed her terribly. He hoped things would be going well for her.
