Well well well, where to begin? It’s been an interesting mission. So much has happened I’ve negotiated a peace treaty with a new alien race, me and Draxx are trying for another baby after the injections given to me by Caroline not only will make me next child ages at the normal rate but also act like a horny schoolgirl. Mind you, Draxx didn’t complain.

And speaking of children, my first-born daughter is now sharing her body with the consciousness of one of those aliens. I’m still coming to terms with that. I mean Fay, that’s the name of the alien, and I have talked, and she couldn’t remain in Sansa’s body if she wasn’t willing and Sansa has confirmed this herself. It is possible to speak with Sansa which is a good thing as she helped her father come to terms with what had happened, and it makes me feel… slightly better. Sansa will away be my baby girl but she is also a young woman now. Capable of making her own choices so… I respect her decision.

We also solved the mystery of what happened to the USS Darwin and managed to rescue their entire crew… And did I mention make a peace treaty with an alien race! And we also met an old friend. The Puppet master had managed to infiltrate the plane where the Megapteraians consciousness exists and quite successfully turned them totally against us. Luckily for us, Lieutenant Godding managed to expose it for what it really was, and everything turned out for the best… including Sansa. So, after a rocky start, we’ve potentially gained a new ally. We left a contingent of diplomatic officers on the planet but as part of the deal, we had to take one of their representatives with us… Hence Fay.

The Merlin has been recalled to Earth for debriefing and we are heading there now with the Darwin. This will give Fay a chance to not only see life onboard, but life on Earth as well. I’m looking forward to going back to Earth, it’s been a while since I’ve been there. I think the last time I was there was when I was re-training for my engineering role on the USS Sarek. Seems like a long time ago now.

End Log
