The first meeting of Melody Jones was nice she seems like a smart intelligent young woman for her age with quite a sweet sounding voice. The meeting went well and will get along quite well even feel she has a sort of like dangerous side to herself I cant quite make out. The captain Barstow is a fine old chap with quite a posh voice a nice vibe was felt around him that makes me feel he could do well commanding the Merlin and should be easy to work with from time to time. Sav being CAG is a interesting person to figure out quite a lot of quirks does things by the book always polite and gets straight to the point. I fee this is a trait all fighter jockeys have and could or may not work that well but if you treat them with respect and stay away from there equipment you can get along quite well with them.

I have yet to meet Lieutenant JG Tan who was running the post before my arrival but we shall see what I make of them as a person. I feel being the oldest in the crew sometimes puts off people or throws them off there guard a little but its not an advantage by any means. Although I dont have a massive well versified carrer like some people would expect at this kind of age I do have the experience to go with the age and the skills to jump into a position if needed be on the Merlin. I feel things can get more exciting on this fine ship with its fine crew and the exciting prospects that lay ahead. The Flight Deck incident reminded me whilst I was in there of the Doncaster with the large fighter contingent and being scared to death by a pilot sneaking up to basically question me why I was in here and what was I doing around sensitive and complex equipment. I was just looking but got scolded and have learnt my lesson to try and not be found around such equipment or to try and climb into one which got me in major trouble with the CAG aboard the Stavanger.

I feel things like this I should ask from time to time to do things of such nature like sitting in something without permission or touching equipment without prior permission. The things you get up to being transported on starships when your bored sometimes crammed into a tiny cabin for a long duration to the target or to the destination. One such gift still unclaimed was the crashed Romulan shuttlecraft the inhabitaits at the time with the aid of there engineers decided to try and rebuild it but gave up half way through and donated it to us as a thank you present which is still on that planet to go fetch someday.
