Captain's log.

With all repairs complete and the crew once again at full strength, the Merlin has been assigned a re-supply mission to a remote science lab on the edge of the Federation space. While this mission is fairly routine, it will give us time to try and complete building the experimental shuttle craft that Starfleet gave us some months ago. I look forward to getting to fly it myself, once our chief engineer is satisfied that it is safe.

This mission will also give me an opportunity to get to know my new first officer better and those new crew who have joined the ship recently.

The issue of the Saboteur is still lingering. Security has been increased throughout the ship but no one has been apprehended yet.
