Mission:
Old, New Ship
Location: Quaters
Timeline: MD7
396 words - 0.8 OF Standard Post Measure
Martin had finished meeting the CO and XO and had decided to drop the bags off at his quaters and get something to eat before turning in for a while after the awful trip aboard the Osiris. He exited the turbolift as it stopped and headed for Landau's quaters hoping not to be disturbed and get at least a few hours rest before exploring the ship.
Martn watched as the doors to his quaters swooshed open with a squeek and entered the vastness of the sparsly furnished room that was to be his onboard the ship. Landau placed the bags in the corner and grabbed something tasty from the repicator throwing the purple dress jacket over the chair and sliping the shoes off placing them on the chair. He finished the sandwich and headed for the shower to freshen up before bed. Martin loved the shower it was nice and refreshing with the beeds of water flowing down the body as he enjoyed every moment of it. After the shower he was dressed in pyjamas and pulled back the sheets sliding into bed. It wasnt long before Martin was out for the night but didnt want to sleep very long as those dam nightmares would rear there head and cause havoc.
He lay there tossing and turning back and forth sweat dripping off him Martin felt quite cammy and hot followed by the muttering and screaming followed by then being flung awake heart pumping, head spinning and sweat everywhere. He didnt like these nightmares or terrors but they would eventually go away over time. They started out quite violent on the Rockhampton but over time they have become less and less nasty even myself faling out of bed has stopped. Landau awoke heart racing and stood up looking at the clock which indicated early morning of MD8 he retreated to the replicator for a glass of cold water and then proceded to sit at the table hands trembling heart still racing quite unsure what the hell happened tonight. The sleep deprived Landau got dressed and proceeded to head on duty earlier glancing at the clock reading 04:30AM. Landau felt if he was on duty it would calm his nerves and would be able to get over it clear his thoughts and focus on the task ahead.
