Thanks to the advent of slipstream, and quick missives through specialty satellites now sending missives through slipstream networks instead of the used to be tachyon 50 Ly per hop communications, messages were now almost seeming instantaneous. In a club, with her friends celebrating her latest Single and Dance Video on the holovid music networks, Dray heard a beep of her communicator. She hauled it out and saw it was from Marbin Rejal, her older Sister's boyfriend. She squealed in delight and showed her friends. The Sarteef Olany and Terran Omija looked at her, and she told them. They now squealed, having known Sav as the helpful person through school.

Dray and her friends went over to a corner away from the noise of the club and she answered.

Of course, my Mom is a little disappointed Sav, and you, have talked with me, but not her yet. I let her know it is coming, give it time. Sav has been through hell and needs time. Oh, anyway, I'm rambling. Please, anytime, give me notice and I will be there for you, because then, it is for her, my older sis, always.

Dray showed her friends, and they all excitedly talked among themselves. They would love to have a boyfriend who brought them breakfast instead of expecting the girls to bring the boys breakfast. Dray quickly typed back on her house communicator, glad it was tied through her mom's special communications center.

That is sooo awesome. Mom and Dad will be thrilled. Just.. Dad is in the Dark on what happened with Sav, so, we need to break it to him gently. Anyways, I will help in any way I can. Then, on Sav, yeah, she is always an early riser, especially since that bastard and his elite tried to kill her. I think you will be a very pleasant, and wanted surprise for her. Best of luck, and I will gladly look forward to chatting with you. Have a great breakfast, and just let Sav know how you feel about her... that is the best way to touching her heart, and building trust with her.

My friends and I agree that that is the best thing we have heard from a boyfriend in a long time. You are worried about screwing things up with her, when she is worried about driving you away with what she has been through. At least, as far as I can tell, from reading her body language and her tonals when chatting with her. I think you are the best thing to happen to her, believing in her and desiring her for herself, despite what she has been through. You just need to let her know that, she is for you... and you hope she realizes you are for her. I know a good heart in you, Miles, and I am glad you found my sister, and she found you. When you are ready, contact me. I will be here. I am so happy for my sister, and you, of course.
