Mission: Old, New Ship
Location: sick bay
Timeline: 239306.29
420 words - 0.8 OF Standard Post Measure

Lidox stepped into Sick bay a two of the nurses looked up at her then looked over to a blond women sat in the office at the side. 'That must be the Chief medical officer' Thought Lidox

Walking over to the blond women Lidox said "Davina Lidox Junior Grade reporting for my medical"

Caroline looked up and smiled. "Your very punctual Lieutenant," she held out her hand. "Caroline Miller."

Lidox took her hand and they shook hands

"Please take a seat," she walked them out to the nearest Biobed and whipped out her tricorder.

She sat down "I think Star Fleet just like prodding and poking there staff" laughed Lidox "this must be my 4th medical this year"

"Ahh well we like to do a through job," Melanie grinned. "How are you feeling? Any issues?" she asked running his blood pressure.

"All is good, Junior and me are fine. I am just feeling a little overwhelmed with all this. New post just out of the academy" Said Lidox

"Ahh," Caroline nodded. "The flight officer is the same but she seems to be adjusting fine. No reason you won't. May I ask, how many hosts has "junior?" Caroline said slowly not sure if she was allowed the right to refer to her symbiont as junior, "had?"

"I'm the second host for the Lidox symbiont" replied Lidox "I gave her the nickname Junior when I met Mel in the academy, she had difficulty understanding when trill's join with the symbiont they become one. We think as one and our biology changes to become inter-dependant on each other. Mel kept referring to the symbiont as a separate entity. So I called her Junior as a joke. I don't mind anyone calling it junior it helps people understand that the two of us are one."

"I see. You keep mentioning Mel," Caroline asked. "That's not Melody the flight officer is it?" She ran a quick comparison of her hormonal levels compared to the last logged scan.

"Yes" smiled Lidox "We were friends at the academy. She was the year above me."

"I bet you have some stories to tell," Caroline grinned.

"Maybe one or two," Lidox smirked cheekily "Just don't mention O'rylies "

"Oh now I have to do that," Caroline smiled wickedly. "Well your looking good. Nothing I can detect out of the norm, Lieutenant I can clear you."

"Thank you doctor " said Lidox getting off the bio bed.
