The 3rd Injection

That evening Melody had put on her trusty little black dress prepared another wonderful meal for Draxx, the remains of which Melody was just clearing up. She came over to the sofa and handed Draxx his drink when the door chime sounded.

"Now I wonder who that can be?" Melody said, trying to feign surprise. "Come in Caroline, you're right on time."

"Something smells good," the blond commented. "Did you have a nice dinner?"

"Delicious, she's been really spoiling me," Draxx told her as she prepared the injection out of her medical kit.

"Very nice," Caroline said. Turning to Mel she told her. "Okay so this is the last treatment."

"You meant this is the last injection. Oh..." Melody said, trying to keep the disappointment out of her voice. "Oh well..." Melody sat up straight. "Ready when you are Caroline."

The blond pressed it to her neck. "Right then I'll run for cover. Enjoy."

Melody had felt the injection, so she now went over to sit by Draxx. "Are you ready for the fireworks?" She asked coyly as she kissed him as she waited for the sudden rush that normally accompanied these injections.

She waited, and waited and waited......

After about 10 minutes she frowned. "Nothing's happening."

"Well I wouldn't say that sweetheart," Draxx said knowing things were definitely happening in his lower area.

Melody smiled and moulded her body against his. "Well then, looks like we'll just have to do it the old-fashioned way." before kissing him passionately again.

Draxx smiled into her lips. "well we never had any issues before ...... " he breathed inhaling her perfume .... "before the injections ....." He kissed her once more and looked hungrily at her. "Maybe I should do that thing you like so much ....." he winked starting to position her on the couch and move his head lower trailing kisses ....

"This is going to have to come off of course," he muttered happily sliding up her dress ....

"But of course." she smiled as she held her arms above her head. "I made some preparations beforehand..." She mentioned casually, in reference to her lack of undergarments.

"You don't say," he smiled. The dress got tossed and he leaned down ready to prove no injections necessary when suddenly something cracked.

"Ouch ...."

Melody stopped and looked at him with concern. "Oh Sweetie, are you ok? You're not as young as you used to be, you know." She added getting up and retrieving a tricorder from one of the desk drawers.

He flushed embarrassed. "It's just something pulled last time. I had a bath. Thought it was taken care of. It eased. Obviously, I did more damage than I thought.

I am not an old man," he added defensively but it was too late she was laughing.

Melody scanned him quickly "It's just a pulled muscle. You'll be fine." She closed the tricorder and picked up a bottle of massage oil she had intended to use later. Pouring a bit on her hand, she worked it into Draxx's back. "There, does that feel better?"

"A little," he groused.

"How about I put on some soothing music run us a nice relaxing bath?"

"Well it would be a shame to waste you being naked," he cheered up a little.
