Lt Tillatix Checking in with 'Parts'

The Valkyrie threaded between several moving asteroids, their pattern seeming to be random, but the fighter passed through openings appearing before it occurred, easily staying clear of those asteroids.

Inside, the pilot, one Lt. j.g. Saveena Tillatix, Sav. was churring. She was sooo happy to be connected with her companion, flying among the rock field, threading through the lanes opening before her. Anyone looking in would be surprised to see her with her eyes closed, but she wasn't using her eyes. She was connected with the fighter, with her sensors, and moving along following her natural spatial sense. Within her mind, she saw a silver thread path, green variance paths, and when something was to be cut off or changed, the path would show yellow. There was no red of enemies, and only blue of neutrals, a shuttle and a just launched Broadsword fighter.

Sav ignored the shuttle and fighter for now, her task was to get to the Merlin and deliver the pods and Valkyrie. Venita was such a fine ship to be used for just parts, but that was the way of it. At 80 kkm out, it was time to make contact. She felt out the modulation system and realized it would sound too 'electronic' and so decided to use her actual voice. She flowed some of herself into her body and activated the com system.

On the fighter's screens showed follow up fighters launching from the USS Merlin, 5 Valkyries and 5 more Broadswords.

A female voice replied "Roger Valkyrie Venita, this is USS Merlin. Glad you could join us. This is Lieutenant Jones. Dragon company is currently on a training exercise in the asteroid field. Exact coordinates and mission briefing are being transmitted on a secure frequency. Please confirm."

=/\= Flight Control, Venita, glad tah meet cha, Lt. Jones. I have them on scope. Now, I am transporting personal goods, parts, and a fighter. Should I come directly to the Merlin, or head to the training exercise? =/\=

"I've informed Dragon company you are inbound. Please rendezvous with them." Melody replied.

Sav churred, loving the idea of staying out here and flying for a while longer. =/\= I am on my way. I would love to introduce myself to the team and get some more flying in. And... transmission confirmed. I have the data, decrypting now. Data Confirmed. I'll look for you on the flip side, Venita out.=/\=

"Copy that Lieutenant. See you when you get back. I look forward to meeting you. Merlin out."

The Valkyrie Venita changed course from heading towards the Merlin and over to the asteroid that the fighter group was incoming on. The pilot, Sav, looked forward to engaging in a training mission and checking out her squadron's pilots, as well as the other squadron leader and pilots. For her, this was going to be grand and fun.
