Mission: Ghost Ship
Location: Holodeck
Timeline: MD1 1930
1930 words - 3.9 OF Standard Post Measure

Following on from the wedding, Hayley had enjoyed the rest of her vacation spending some time with Sansa. However, all good things had to come to an end and she'd returned to the ship. She couldn't help but think about the feisty red-head during her time back and had found herself looking forward to the planned self-defence classes she'd be doing with her.

The first one was planned for tonight, so Hayley had gone down to the Holodeck to set up. She had created a Dojo setting for their classes, with soft floors so that during sparring, no one was hurt if they fell to the floor. Hayley wore her Judoji with her black belt with bare feet as she waited for Sansa. Sitting cross legged on the floor, she closed her eyes and cleared her mind ready for her first lesson with a girl she clearly had a crush on but had to restrain herself.

Sansa walked in waring a skin-tight black leotard with a towel over one shoulder. Her long red hair was tied back in a ponytail. and she had a bottle of water in her hand. "Hey there." She waved cheerily at Hayley and placed the towel and water on a bench at the side. She took off her shoes and socks and came over to stand next to her. She started stretching out while she glanced around her soundings. "Nice venue. I wasn't sure what we were starting with so I just threw on this leotard. I hope it's ok?"

If she wasn't the consumate professional, Hayley imagined she'd be having a comic nose-bleed at that precise moment. How she managed to retain her composure, she had no idea, but somehow she managed. "Its fine." Hayley said, smiling. "You want your clothing to be as unobtrusive as possible to allow full body movement during exercises, so it works." She said, admiring how the outfit did a great job of showing off Sansa's georgous body. "So, before we do anything intensive, we'll do some basic cardiac warm-ups to prevent any injuries, okay?"

Having stretched out, Sansa gave Hayley her best smile. "Sure thing. You're the boss. Something to get the blood pumping?" she added with a mischevious grin. Sansa was looking forward to spending time with Haley. She had been looking forward to it since Hayley had agreed to teach her some self-defense.

Hayley noted the mischeviousness; "Something like that." She smirked as they began a few basic warmups. Once these were complete, Hayley began with some basic Judo moves. "So, what you want to do, is to keep your opponent in front of you as much as possible. The reason should be obvious, but for the sake of education, it's so you can always observe what they're doing. Now I'm teaching you some basic Judo, which is a purely defensive art. Proper students of the art use it to purify body and soul, but that's not what we're doing today. Today, I'm teaching you how to protect yourself from people who mean to do you harm."

The warm-up had brought a lovely red glow to Sansa's cheeks. As she stood and faced Hayley, she listened very carefully to what she was saying. After her encounter with that Ferengi, she wanted to be ready for anything, but her infection humour always managed to creep into any situation. "So you're going to show me how to throw people over my shoulder?"

Hayley offered a smile. "Well, we'll begin with some basic blocks first. Then we'll move on to throwing people around, alright?" She replied. "Believe it or not, tossing your opponent across the room is not something you should start with. What you want to do is control the space around your person. That means preventing them from entering that space. We'll start with some basic arm deflections first." She said. "Computer, create one adversary." The computer chimed and a man wearing a white Judoji with a white belt materialised. "Okay, attack me." Hayley instructed the male. The male approached Hayley and tried to lay a hit on her torso, but Hayley would deflect each attack with a smooth movement, using her forearms to deflect the attack energy away from her body.

"Did you see how I did that? You are basically visualising your arms as flowing water and sweeping them across and down... across and down... across and down... each time the attack happens, you go across and down... like so..." Hayley demonstrated. "Okay, your turn, remember, across and down... slowly to start with. The computer will match your speed."

Sansa watched intently on how Hayley easily blocked each attack. She now stood and faced her own computer-generated opponent. "Ok. Attack me." Sansa repeated the moved she had observed with speed and accuracy, also blocking the attacks. She did not take into account that the computer would learn from her responses and slightly alter each attack as it progressed.

She smiled as she continued to block each attack. "Hey! This is easier than I Ooooof!!!" As she had been talking, her opponent changed the pattern of his attack and caught her with a fist square in the chest. The force knocked her onto her butt on the floor.

She looked up at Hayley a little embarrassed. "Awwww. I deserved that.." she muttered, having the wind knocked out of her sails slightly.

Hayley smiled and helped Sansa back up onto her feet. "Well, you did get a little cocky there, but you did pretty well first time out." She said. "Alright, let's try that again, but this time, I want you to watch your opponent's eyes rather than his body. Believe it or not, their eyes can tell you a lot about their intentions long before their body does. Have another go, see how you get on."

Sansa nodded as she faced the computer-generated opponent again. This time, she concentrated more and kept her eyes fixed on her target. It turns out Sansa was a quick study and she soon had the blocking moves perfected. The computer beep. "Exercise complete."

Slightly out of breath, she turned to Hayey. "So what's next?"

Hayley was significantly impressed with how quickly Sansa had picked up on the basics of defensive blocking. "So, next we'll cover how to subdue an opponent. Now, this can be achieved in a number of ways, but the easiest for today would be to teach how to extend from your blocking technique into a strike." She explained. "Computer, reset opponent." Hayley instructed. "Now, once you've moved from the basic block defence, we can move into our opponents personal space, like so." Hayley activated the opponent who started the usual attack. "Across, Down, Across, Down, Across, Down..." She said, indicating the defence moves that Sansa had already gotten good at. "...then step and jab!" Hayley said, who suddenly stepped inside the block she'd just done, moving her body right into her opponents and jabbing her right hand, palm first, into her opponent's chest, which sent the opponent stumbling back.

"See how I did that?" Hayley asked. "You try."

Sansa watch Hayley with admiration. After her earlier slip-up, some of the humour had gone from her expression. Now, she was more focused on learning. At the same time, she was enjoying spending time with Hayley. Sansa copied what she had done with the blocking exercise and added in the step.. and the jab. The hologram picked himself up and attacked again. This time suddenly, Sansa was back on Risa. In her mind's eye she could see the Ferengi approaching her. This time she took all the rage that she had felt and channeled it into the punch. The force sent the hologram flying into the back wall. The force also caused Sansa to overbalance and she reached out and grabbed Hayley's hand as she went down onto the floor again. Now, she pulled Hayley down on top of her. For a moment she just lay there catching her breath before she managed to get out "Sorry. Got carried away there a bit..."

She hadn't expected to be yanked down onto the floor like that, but now she was laying on top of Sansa and she felt her warmth as they were pressed together. Hayley could see Sansa's flushed face and feel her breath on her face. It was intoxicating and she felt her resolve weakening. "Its okay..." She said, feeling herself becoming flustered and her face warm, but she couldn't help it. So much want and desire went through her at that moment, so much pent up need and craving... she leaned in and kissed Sansa on the lips softly before she even realised she was doing it!

Sansa's eyes went wide and her knees went weak and without realising she was responding to her, moving her body closer. Shock suddenly kicked in, and she pulled back abruptly. She lay there for a moment, breahting heavily but not from the exersise, gazing into Hayleys eyes. Where did that come from? She didnt know, but she liked it. Suddenly, she grabbed the front of Hayley's Judoji and pulled her into more passinoate kiss.

The kissing became more intense, the passion rising. It was as if both of them had pent up lust and desire for one another that they were both finally exercising. Hands roamed across one another. Clothing flew in all directions as they surrendered to the moment...

- Later -

Hayley lay there, her hair a splayed mess around her head as they lay on the padded floor of the holodeck, Sansa laying in her arms against her enjoying the warm afterglow of a couple of hours of... 'unscheduled calesthetics'. She found herself looking with affection at the younger red-head who lay on Hayley's outstretched arm. She ran a finger gently down Sansa's naked body and smiled at her. "I can't believe we did that..." Hayley said, sighing happily. "I mean... I had no idea you liked me like that..."

Sansa felt safe in Hayley’s arms. She looked into her eyes for a moment before answering. “When I’m with you it’s like...” she paused as she tried to verbalise her feelings “I’ve never felt this way about anyone.” She brushed some of the blond hair from Hayley’s face. “You are so beautiful.”

Hayley smiled, leaned in and kissed Sansa softly. "Nothing compared to you." She said. It was as if the last few years of lonliness and separation had never happened, she felt so comfortable being here with Sansa. It felt... right. She found that she had a deep connection to Sansa that she realised she'd been missing for so long. This was going to be all new for the younger red-head though, and she would probably be wondering what happened next. Propping herself up on her arm, Hayley looked at Sansa with new appreciation. "I've been fighting my feelings about you for some time now, but didn't think you liked me in the same way." She said, softly. "This does change things though." She swallowed.

Sansa took Hayley’s hand. “I felt there was something between us and it’s only got stronger the more time we spent together. It’s taken me some time to realise what that meant but I’m certain now. Whatever happens, I’ll be there for you.”

Hayley smiled warmly and held onto Sansa's hand firmly. "I'll be there for you too, Sansa."
