Sav did not hear Wolf leaving her quarters to go to the brig where he had transported Melody. She was in the arms of an exhausted sleep, one where her body was gaining strength after having fought down, once more, the imprints and overlays of psionic counselors impinging upon her what should be, instead of what actually was. She went right past REM sleep, and so was not having the typical nightmares that always interrupted her sleep patterns, causing her to always be exhausted and tired except when flying a ship.
Even though deep within herself, her body healing, her subconscious was busy in keeping Sav safe, memories intact, while regulating the false memories to her telepathic fore compartments, while the deep imprint of 'Uniqueria' was shoved into the imprint barrier of the overlays. The emotional Sav, the creative Sav, was safe underneath, for now. The split personality of Logical Sav, the It that kept her body going and interacting with others, shoved and tucked the imprints into their corners once more, along with now being aware of the deep imprint. The logical knew that there was not much more time for them, being apart, and that if they did not get help soon, the divided would end up with emotional Sav being buried forever, with the implants coming to the fore, and then, death at seeking out he who desires the pelt of Save'ena.
The Mephetian officer slept on the couch, breathing very light, deep within herself, as her body worked on getting rid of some of the buildup of toluene, healing sliced lower organs by the nylon, and just trying to survive and be. She was deep into herself for twenty minutes, past REM state, before her subconscious felt enough had been done to allow Logical Sav to the fore once more.
Unknown to her, Wolf had went to the Brig to talk to Melody, and the private counseling session that occurred between Wolf, Sav, and Melody had now been played before an audience, and that audience being security. The scene played back took 20 minutes from the tea to when Wolf laid her down to sleep.
Sav stirred on the couch, bypassing REM state to climb into consciousness. She sat upright, trying to place herself, even as the blanket slid down into her lap. As she was waking, with no dramatic surges in heart-rate or adrenaline responses, the computer did not perform any alerts.
Sav took in a deep breath, then let out a sigh. Standing up, she went to the replicator, "32 ounces of cranberry juice in a stein, please." As it replicated, she sat down, still feeling tired, but a lot better than when she had almost fell into a faint before Wolf. She sat there, wondering to herself, 'What happened? Where is Melody? Why do I feel like I woke up from another nightmare?'. The replicator opened and she grabbed the stein with a mind tentacle, bringing it over to her. She drank it down, then after a minute, headed to the fresher. She needed to pee, and to check to see if there was any bleeding. Her nightmares usually produced some, and if she had another one with Wolf and Melody looking on, she might have more.
In the fresher, she did her duty and checked. She had only a little bleeding to clean up. Putting a fresh pad into her panties, she went to the desk to sit down. She suddenly sat bolt upright, then focused intently on the couch and blanket. She slumped, breathing out a sigh of relief. Her nightmares usually ended up with shredded linen, yet, she did not see any. She closed her eyes and rubbed her temple, sitting there breathing for a space, happy to not see any rips. Then, Sav sat bolt upright again. Melody had been beside her, what if the 'errand' was getting treated for scratches or cuts by her?
Sav touched the control panel on the desk. She felt the familiar Siren call to join and fly. She indulged for two seconds, letting the stresses melt away in her as her buried self joined with her logical self to escape her minds prison and fly with the Merlin in the space around them. Coming out, she searched for Melody and found her telltales in the Security Offices on Deck 32. Sav breathed out a sigh of relief again at not finding Melody in Medical. Wolf had said errand, and some sort of security breach was a Second Officers duty to check into, or so where Sav's thoughts were on finding her there.
Sav drank down some water from the tea pitcher on the counter, already feeling better from the liquids replenishing her fluids. She got up, glanced at the blanket to make sure she folded it okay and laid it across the back of the couch once more, then headed out the doors to go to deck 32.
Sav walked through the linking space to the diplomatic suites and into the waiting turbolift. As this was a 'diplomatic' area, there was generally a turbolift available at all times. Sav snorted out in humor to herself. She had a phobia of Diplomats thanks to what Diostros did, and here she was, on the Dip deck. She was just glad that the Merlin had none on board at this time. She touched the handle but did not call anything out. As it was just her, she touched the handle and the Turbolift headed for deck 32 and the security offices with the brig.

The ride down 13 decks and across the ship took a little over 90 seconds. As Sav climbed off, she was churring a little, feeling somewhat better. Of course, if she would have went to deck 39 and climbed aboard her Valkyrie, she would be feeling terrific. But, right now, that she was motigating about was a good sign, especially after how wrung out she when Wolf left her quarters. As she walked over to the security office's door, she smiled to herself at having found a blanket upon her, no doubt by Melody coming by to check on her and finding Sav fast asleep. She would have to make it up to her.
Sav came up to the door and touched the plate, not noticing if there was any special status going on right now. The doors opened right up for her and she went in. She had to find Melody and let her know she was up and about. She came up to the duty desk and smiled at the person manning it.
"Hi, I'm Lt. Save'ena Tillatix, CAG. And, not to worry, this is just a social call, not an inspection or anything." A lovely, erotic churr sounded out from Sav's chest as she did this, and she also pronounced her name Mephetian style as her mind was still locked to that, not this 'Sah-vene-ah' the Federation kept calling her.
Crewman Recruit Aumento looked up from behind the computer console and smiled warmly. "Hello sir. Nice to meet you, is there anything I can do to help you?"
She smiled, churring again, "My friend, Lt. Melody Jones, is in the brig area with the Captain and Security personnel, probably involved in hush hush Brass stuff, you know how it goes for us in the 'not need to know' department." She laughed gently, the exotic sound mixed with erotic undertones. "As I am not privy, mind if I wait for them to finish?" Sav suddenly frowned, "Shoot, I didn't bring my coffee set." She snorted out in humor, "So, is the coffee at least drinkable?"
Crewman Recruit Aumento chuckled. "I understand completely sir." She casually brushed a stray lock of her auburn hair back behind her ear and looked down at the screen before her for a moment. "There isn't anything here saying you can't wait sir, so please feel free to take a seat."
Aumento motioned to the few chairs along side the far wall. "Unfortunately, we're still tied into the brig system in this office so replicator functions are a bit limited for security reasons. I'm afraid to say the coffee is barely more than darkly colored warm water." She scrunched up her face and grinned. "I think they made it that way on purpose to punish the prisoners even more."
Sav made a face, all the more noticeable due to having a muzzle, needle-like front teeth, and whiskers. "Ewww, I don't think I would like that." She grinned, "Say, would you like a refreshing cup of coffee? We pilots keep a pot in Drop bay upper level, and as CAG, they deliver."
Aumento smiled so broadly it seems as if it would take in her own ears. "I would love a real cup of coffee! Thank you!"
Sav hit her badge, =/\= Ensign Roscharte, CAG Tillatix, I need a coffee run, hot pot and five cups, to the Brig on level 32. Asap.=/\=
=/\= Ensign Rosharte here, CAG. Coffee on the way. Hazelnut and Cinnamon for you?=/\=
Sav churred, loving that the Ensign had remembered her favorite drink. =/\=Naah, black is fine. Deliver the set to Crewman Recruit Aumento, okay? She gets first cup for letting me hang out to find out what the Second Officer has in store for the Fighters. Her lecture was delightful.=/\=
=/\= That it was CAG. Coffee set coming up, be there in a jiffy. Ensign Roscharte out.=/\=
Sav smiled to Aumento, "Good coffee on its way. Wake me when it gets here, and yes, you get the first cup. Pilots way of saying thank you for treating the CAG to special privileges.
"Will do sir, let me know if you do need anything." Aumento replied, quite pleased that an officer was being so nice to her.
The female Mephetian CAG went over to the chairs, then settled into one, with her tail being a cushion as she snuggled and began to drift, still feeling worn out from her earlier session with Wolf.... no, not session, meeting of understanding.
