Sav had arrived back to her quarters after getting drunk with Brenda in the lounge. She was not sure how this would affect her the next day, but as she had done plenty to help others in such a situation, she followed her own advice to them. First, she drank plenty of water as a lot of the 'hangover' was the brain and body being dehydrated. Next, a small snack to help slow the alcohol absorption. Finally, she relaxed with some chamomile tea and reading for a bit, and then settling into bed.
She glanced at the time and it was just before 0100 hours. After the day she had, she sure hoped she could just fall asleep and get some rest, if that was ever going to be considered possible. Still, it was worth a shot, especially with the alcohol within her system helping to drop her to sleep. Thus, she snuggled into her pillows and blankets, and drifted.

Sav was running, trying to run, trying to get out of that dastardly Maze. Yet, everywhere she turned, there was more cells, more torturous instruments, more esoteric-kinky-worse instruments of sexuality. And, what was even worse, were fuzzy starfeet personnel with flickering of herself within them, in counseling uniforms, carrying phaser scalpels and holographic projections systems. As she would turn a corner, one would be ahead, cutting away the cells, the instruments, the femininity being turned into objects of extreme pleasures for others, to build into its place a spacedock with a yacht over a pile of debris in one spot. And then, and then, behind THEM, was a glowing body of herself, surrounding another counselor in uniform, implanting the truth within the spacedock there, causing it to shift between spacedock, dungeon, spacedock, dungeon. It was almost, comical, if it wasn't for the sheer terror of it all.

There was a pinging coming from the computer access console on the nightstand beside the bed. The computer had been told to wake Major Johnson when there was a spike in Lieutenant Tillatix's heart rate and Adrenaline, and both were definitely doing that now, beyond considered safe levels.
Johnson groaned as the alarm went off, pulling him from a deep sleep, "what!?" he growled and opened his eyes, trying to blink his vision clear.
"*Engaging Alpha wave monitoring of Lt. Tillatix. Warning, six foreign alpha constructs detected besides Lt. Tillatixs on record Alpha. And, Alarm disengaged, Lt. Tillatix has disappeared from sensors. Orders?*"
Wolf shot up in bed, propelling himself to his feet in nearly one motion, "computer, verify there are no life signs in Lieutenant Tillatix's quarters and display last vitals readings, including brain waves," he ordered as he grabbed a pair of jeans and his shoes to start pulling them on.
"*Scanning.... Scanning... Affirmative. There are no life signs in Lieutenant Tillatix's quarters. Last vitals readings and full set brain waves on Desk Monitor.*"
Wolf then grabbed his tricorder and tied it into the readings he'd requested and rushed out, forgetting to grab his shirt as he started to sprint.

Sav broke from her frozen revelry and ran once more, her heart pounding, as she tried to get out of there. There were five of the dockers and they seemed to be chasing her, and the other Sav self, all the while the other Sav self was chasing her, while undoing what the dockers did. Sav found a known location, her cell, and she darted in, locking the door. She scrunched back to the corner, rocking, and suddenly, the other Sav was there, before her, in the slave position, saying, "We are Uniqueria. Our master with his skinning instruments seeking the ecstasy of slowly cutting away our skin for his pleasure awaits." Sav scooted back, even as this Sav with the counselor inside began crawling forward, repeating over and over that she belonged to Diostros.
Sav began trembling as the other Sav began crawling up her body. Sav looked at her and realized she was naked, and the other was passing into her as she crawled, the counselor within saying, "Accept, this is who you are, this is who you should be, Uniqueria, not this Saveena, Uniqueria, accept.." Meanwhile, bars of her cell changed into a pressure door, then back to bars, then a pressure door with bars for a large window.

As Wolf ran towards the Turbolift, the computer chimed onto his comm badge. =/\= Any further orders regarding Lieutenant Tillatix Sir? Deactivate alarm? Perform Scan for her on Merlin? If you suspect foul play, any different scans in her quarters?=/\=
As the voice came out of the device in his palm Wolf furrowed his brow and looked down, something wasn't right. The computer wasn't designed to interface and ask the questions that were being asked now, he felt almost like it was hurding him. He stopped for a second before putting his comm badge inside the lift then turning and heading for the Jefferies tube access hatch nearby.

=/\= *Intruder scanning in Tillatix's quarters. There are momentary thermal and UV flares on sensors, and sounds in quarters. No electromagnetic signature of Ops Sneak Suit.*=/\=
Johnson heard the announcement through his tricorder after configuring it to monitor the commbadges frequency. He didn't reply as he climbed down the ladder the seven decks to where Save'ena was quartered.

Sav stilled, the counselor thinking he had won as the overlay began feeling the real Sav within. However, unexpectedly, now that Sav felt and knew what was going on, her mind and subconscious could react. Sav pushed out, claws extended, and the other Sav was pushed back into a wall. No damage had been done to Uniqueria, but there was cuts along the counselor psychic force within. Sav stood up. She was not this 'Saveena' of the Federation, not this Uniqueria of Diostros, she was Sav, Save'ena, her own person, and she would NOT accept what was happening around her.
She launched into the other Sav, fighting that overlay even as it fought down the other five dockers while Sav fought to take control over all. She pushed, and pushed hard, her will to be Save'ena and live still very strong, for now. The dockers and uniqueria were shoved back into her secondary minds, her main memories as well as herself still safe as the battle had once again been fought within the fore compartment of her mind. Sav momentarily relaxed in relief after the hard fought battle, her main memories safe for the time being and no longer in danger of being erased. However, now was the time of her memories and nightmares once again.
Sav opened her eyes to find herself in her cell, ropes being bound around her wrists and on each ankle. There was a ball-gag in her mouth as she was stretched and hauled into the air. Mistress Elizabeth inserted an IV needle into her left thigh femoral artery, and then strung the tubing up her body to clip the opening at her left ear, a roller clamp in place only allowing a dribble even while Sav fought as best she could. Sav's fear was palpable in the air. She knew what was next, dreams of this day having haunted her, will happen, had happened. Sav began crying out around the gag, small whimpered 'Noes', 'Not agains', 'My insides', 'my womanhood' sounding out in random patterns.

Once Wolf emerged from the tube hatch he stopped at a nearby weapons locker and grabbed one of the type two phasers, "sir, is everything alright?" came a bewildered voice from behind him.
Richard turned to see an officer with the tell tale gold collar and her own phaser on her hip, "fine, Ensign, go back to your patrol, medical business," he ordered before hurrying off and leaving the confused officer standing there. If someone were monitoring the comma or the computer were compromised he didn't want a security alert to sound.
=/\=* Here is the direct feed.*=/\= Over Wolf's tricorder came the sounds of growls, whimpers, cloth ripping, and soft cries of 'no's, 'stay away', 'not again', 'please'.
==== USS Merlin, Deck 9, CAG Temp Quarters 0130 Hours ====
Outside the CAG Quarters it was eerily quiet. These rooms, made for VIP's, had additional sound dampers to prevent anything from impairing a good nights sleep.
The half dressed Marine took a breath as he checked the phaser to make sure it was set to heavy stun. He then typed in the medical override code and the doors slid open. Wolf squinted as he moved toward the darkness and paused at the threshold, scanning the darkened room in sectors with his eyes.
Deeper into the quarters were the sounds of ripping, shredding, crying, yells, and growls as Sav fought through her nightmares once more.
Then, a shriek was heard from the bedroom which was past the living room.
"Damn," Richard breathed as he rushed in, quickly moving to the bedroom, "computer, lights, now," he ordered.
As the lights came on, there, on the bed, was a wild eyed Sav, dressed in a large t-shirt acting as a nightgown. She was sticking out of the main blanket where she had torn through it and brought it around her, as though she had just emerged from it. On the bed around her were the remains of several shredded pillows and sheets, from her tossing, turning, and clawing within her dreams. What was a little concerning was specks of blood here and there along the sheets, even though no wounds were visible on the young Mephetian. Even disheveled, she looked 17, even though her age of record was 23.
The Major bypassed the bed and looked in the bathroom to make sure it was clear before coming back.
Sav, still trying to wake up from the dream, did not notice Wolf in the room, not yet. Her mind was still trying to bring itself back to reality from memories of the reality of what happened to her six years ago.
Wolf slid the phaser into the back of his waisband before moving to the bed and crouching down, "Save'ena," he said softly and set his hand on the bed near her.
Sav heard her name, her true name, even as her eyes shifted size as she she fought out of the throes of disorientation from the nightmare. She blinked her eyes, trying to clear them, and then sneezed as her body cleaned up the lint, threads, and pillow stuffing she had been inhaling. She looked at the person saying her name, then balked as she saw a naked torso by her bed, a Terran, well muscled, and probably somebody who Diostros sent to finish the job. She shrieked again, backing up on the bed, stammering out, "NO NO, please no... you have my virginity, my insides dripping out below me, leave me my life and pelt, please, please, leave me my life..."
Johnson just watched, not taking any action to try and calm her. With nightmares that were intense enough to have the effect that Sav's were having any thing he did would just make things worse. He did, however, leave his tricorder recording everything so he could review it later.
As nothing happened, this allowed the terror to fade even as Sav came up out of her nightmare, the scenes of her 'home cell' being replaced with those of her bedroom. As the scene cahnged, Wolf now came into focus before her. She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts and memories, then said, "Wolf? Wha... what are you doing here?" She glanced at the time, then confusedly said, "It's the middle of the night..."
Sav glanced down at her bedding, moaning out, "Not again." She took in a breath, letting it out, and hoping to calm Wolf before the situation escalated, stated, "Umm, I.. uh, bad dreams. And, why I don't have roomies."
Sav seemed to perk up, the nightmare already being shoved down inside for another day, as she said, "Well, why are you here? Umm, please excuse me while I clean this up., and, umm, sorry for you having to see this. Nobody is ever supposed to see this.. it.. just.. looks too bad for what it is..."
Richard smiled and motioned to all the scars the littered the skin of his torso, "trust me, you're not the only one who has had dreams that ruin sheets and furniture," he replied with a smile before standing up and stepping back, "I got a call from the computer that there was an emergency," he explained.
Sav moved out of bed while making sure her large nightshirt kept her covered. She had seen the spots of blood on the bedding and didn't want Wolf to see her probably blood soaked panties, the overnight pad probably had been overfilled from her nightmare. She paused a moment, then moved over to Wolf, touching one of his scars, concern for him overriding all else, "Oh, Wolf, I didn't know. First Melody, now you, are you, okay?" She blushed, just having realized she had touched him without permission.
Wolf smiled, "I'm fine, just the hazards of the job," he replied softly, "I keep them as a reminder of how strong I can be, even when all seems lost and I want to give up. If I can keep from breaking after this was done to me there is nothing that can break me."
Sav stepped back from him, saying, "Giving you strength when there is nothing left." She returned to the bed, hand shoveling the disheveled bedding into a pile. "What happened to me on Apollonia sure pales to what has happened to you and Melody. You both deserve better, for sure."
"Not pales, it was just different," Wolf replied with a smile, "the thing about torture is that it's torture, regardless of how 'light' one might try to convince you it is, it's all just as damaging and hurtful."
Sav picked up the bedding and went over to the replicator. Using her mind tentacles, the replicator opened for her and she began stuffing the bedding in. As she did, she continued, "One would think that after six years, the nightmares would have went away, or at least calmed down. I am sure you know of ways to deal with them, seeing as you had it much, much worse than I, and, and... DAMMIT!" Anger at the bedding, anger at the nightmare, anger over what happened to her on Apollonia, bubbled up within her, as some of the ripped bedding with blood in it slipped to the floor.
Sav bent down to pick it up and more pieces began falling. She began to start punching it, trying to get the pieces to stay in the replicator even as tears of anguish and pain joined in with her anger. She began punching at the bedding, saying, "Get in there... stay in there... *punch* AURGH.. nothing is going right *punch*, nothing is working as it should *punch*, my insides are still not healed *punch*, I'm not allowed to tell what happened *punch*, and and.. " The replicator shut on the bedding, reclaiming it into the system by converting it back to protoplasm.
Sav slid down the wall, gently crying, her anger now dissolved for the time being. She had to say something, anything, to Wolf, to let him know why she had acted out. This wasn't her, yet, it was. She choked out, "Life... life... can be nasty.. bad.. thanks to others.. It is so hard to keep going, keep going.. sometimes, my entire self just wants to give up, make the pain and hurt stop.. just make it stop.. "
Richard walked over and pulled out the phaser, turning it so the emitter was facing his elbow and the weapon itself was running along his forearm before he sat down next to Sav and let out a sigh, "Sav.....that wont end the pain, just give it to others who care about you, like me, like Melody...like all the people you've become friends with here," he said and laid his head back against the bulkhead, looking up at the bulkhead, "it is really hard, but you aren't alone anymore, you have over a thousand family members on this ship."
Sav sighed into her gentle sobs. She leaned over to lay against Wolf, loving that he was sitting next to her. She needed his body's presence to help steady her, and his caring to help center her mind. "I know it won't, Wolf. I have been fighting for six years since I survived what should have killed me." She hrmphed out, "It hurts to lie, it tears me up, but I cannot help it. I cannot say what needs said, and it hurts so much every time someone asks. And the mesh they put in to hold my insides together, supposed to be gone already is still there, not healed. Just.. just... why? Just.. why?" Sav leaned her head into Wolf's shoulder, "I know you don't know, Wolf... its just me asking, saying, to vent."
"I know," Richard replied with a smile and slid an arm around her, not saying anything else, just holding her.
Sav felt her nerves calming and the crying going away. She sat upright and brushed her hair back, churring slightly. "I think I can get to sleep now. Thanks for the shoulder to lean on for a while.. without counseling mumbo jumbo added in. You being here for me helped much more than anything you could have said."
Johnson chuckled, "no problem. And you know, sometimes being a counselor just means being a friend, it's not always about the mumbo jumbo," he replied with a smile and gave her a friendly squeeze before letting go.
Sav pushed up against the wall and stood up. She turned and held a hand out to Wolf, "Like a hand up from a girl? I may not be terran, but people say I am at least decent to look at, well, in clothes at least."
The Marine nodded with a smile and took the offered hand before getting to his feet with her help, "you really are, even how you are dressed now," he replied honestly, his tone more friendly than anything else.
Sav churred out gently, "Thanks, Wolf, flattery gets you anywhere with a girl." She liked he had said it, even though she knew it was just to make her feel better.
Sav turned to look at the replicator and saw it had finished. She now punched in for new bedding. As she waited, she turned to Wolf, "Umm, oh, yeah, Computer said emergency in here. Umm, just a bad dream... Ok, nightmare. Is it resolved to your satisfaction, Wolf?"
"For now," the Major replied and tucked the phaser back into the back of his waistband, "just remember, I'm only a call away if you need anything."
Sav noticed Wolf doing something behind his back and chalked it up to him adjusting his pants as he had been down on the floor with her. She snorted out in light humor, "Well, kinda hard tah call whena in t'e middle of one, ayuh." She realized she had went back to her native swamp dialect and tried again, "Sorry, it's hard to make a call when you're in the middle of a nightmare... and as I have been living with them for six years, my mind just tucks them away and I tend to not remember when I fully wake up."
The replicator chimed and she took the bedding out. She tossed it onto the bed and held out her arm for Wolf, "The least I can do is escort you to the door." She grinned and churred out, "Mind taking a walk with a Southern Bell, Sirrah?"
Richard chuckled and took Savs arm with a bow at the waist, making sure not to go to far down so the phaser stayed out of sight, "I'd be honored," he replied simply and smiled
Sav gladly walked with him to her quarters door. As she did, she said, "I still don't know why for the emergency call. Maybe as these quarters are temporary and still considered VIP the computer is designed to monitor them for anything out of the ordinary." She shook her head, snorting out in humor, "I betcha that's what happened. VIP's get preferred treatment, including personal visits by head doc and shrink, fer sure." She laughed, a melodious sound that was made erotic by the churring underneath, "I'll be moving to my permanent quarters on deck 2, so you shouldn't be awoken by an emergency for my brain waves a-spiken when I have my next nightmare."
"Well, it was for the best this time. And you didn't have to come out of it alone," the Marine replied happily and stepped through the door, "good night, Sav," he said and gave her a nod before starting to walk away, making a note to talk with his Yeoman.
Sav watched Wolf go through the doors and gave him a little wave as she said, "Goodnight, Wolf, thanks again." She went to the kitchen first to make some soothing tea, then went in to make the bed and fall asleep doing some expert sudoku puzzles.
