ON:

Melody sat on the couch, a bottle of wine and two glasses waiting on the table wondering who would be first through the door, Caroline or Draxx?

The chime to the Captain's quarters rang, Caroline standing outside with an official medical kit.

"Come in Caroline." Melody called out, guess she knew who it would be.

"Oh I see you have prepared," the blonde quipped. "Nice babydoll Mel," she said. "But you might want to cover up. Great for Draxx but more than I need to see right now," she grinned.

Melody shrugged. "You were my doctor and you are my counsellor and my friend so If you're comfortable I am. Can I get you anything? Draxx should be here shortly though I'm not sure if he's expecting his tonight." She mused.

"I'm sure he won't complain," Caroline said with a smile.

"Complain about what?" Draxx's voice rang out as he walked through the door. "Oh ..... OH .... oh ... is it ...?"

"Injection time," Caroline stated. "Hope you have your strength Draxx." she teased. "Come on Mel lets get this over with," she picked up the hypospray.

"She's not staying for the action Mister so don't get any ideas." Melody said with a cheeky smile as she handed him a wine glass.

"I .... erm hadn't. I value my life Mel," Draxx spluttered.

Caroline hid a grin as she pressed the injection to the Captains neck. "Besides I am definitely not dressed for the occasion," she joked.

"Right," she pressed the release and a loud hissing noise could be heard. "I'm monitoring your vitals and getting all the data to send back to sickbay and the people who developed the treatment. Call me if you have any side effects other than what we already know about.

"Have fun guys," she said picking up the rest of her kit and leaving.

"Is that new babe?" Draxx said sitting down next to her and running a finger over the soft material. "It's a good colour on you."

She smiled at him "You always know just what to say." as she leant forward and kissed him deeply. She suddenly broke off the kiss and frowned. "Nothing’s happening..." Her gaze went internal. She took a deep breath and waited a moment. Nothing changed. "I guess it was just a one-off reaction to the first injection." she finally said, her voice sounded a bit... disappointed.

"Well, we can still have a good time. It was always good before this treatment," Draxx said gently. "Maybe ...."

Suddenly Melody's hand grabbed Draxx's arms tight as her pupils dilated and her breathing and heart rate both skyrocketed. "Holy Crap!" she managed to get out "This is so much more... intense than last time..." As she got a breathing rate under control, she suddenly fixed her eyes on Draxx like a Lion that was eyeing up a juicy zebra. The wine was forgotten as suddenly, without another word, she pounced on him in a tornado of kissing and clothes removing...

A little while later ... Draxx woke up a little uncomfortable. "I think I've pulled something babe. Are you ... your ...its out your system again now?" he asked tentatively. The dull ache in his legs made him wonder if he had the stamina to keep up if it wasn't.

Melody was also exhausted. "To be honest my love, I just want to sleep in your arms for four or five days..." She snuggled up closer to him, resting her head on his chest. "That was..." She smiled at the memory "Amazing. You were amazing."

He rolled over and smiled placing an arm around her waist. Clearly, he was nailing this marriage thing. Keep her happy in bed and out of bed. And that smile made the pain of whatever he had pulled worth it. "As were you," he agreed. "Do you think this time we got lucky?" he said moving his hand to pat her stomach.

She placed her hand on his and held his gaze for a while. "I don't know about that but one thing I do know is... I'm starving. Any chance of you rustling up some Hasperat? Nice and Spicy?"

"Sounds a nice idea. And a side order of bacon?" he said getting up out of bed.

The only response he got was a long drawn out snore.
