ON:

Miles invited everyone to join he and Sav at the number 1 dance club on Earth, Hï Ibiza. If he was going to dance, badly, then he wanted to do it surrounded by those he trusted not to fall to the dance floor laughing.

Sav was waiting with Miles outside the club. They had arrived together, with her in a new muted red evening dress just above the knees, patterned sides with openings, and having a lace up back. She had on a discreet bra that blended with her fur and followed along the back laces, while her panties were sports type for just in case any dance or acrobatics moves that would cause a possible exposure, which was now taken care of. Her sashe, belt, and shoes were black. The shoes were short heals, comfortable, and designed for elegance, easy wear, and dancing, while leaving toes exposed with their red toenail polish, and egress for her claws for just in case. Her fingernails were also in red polish. She looked very good in it, and felt older to boot, making her feel really good and more mature next to her Beau, Miles.

Sav looked up at the Five Story affair, wondering how this was going to work. She had always been in small Electronica Discoteca clubs, never such a large one with such a reputation. What she didn't know was that there were floating platforms of dancers that floated around the DJ in the center of the building on his own stabilized platform. Each corner had the bathrooms on each floor, while the bars were on either side of the bathrooms, making the inside square building to be a huge cylinder for dancing. There were two in sync DJs who could take over whenever the other one needed a break, making a long, seamless dancing show with special callouts, contests, and the like.

She also didn't realize that Miles, through the L'Tandrey Embassy, had gotten them the privileged VIP Packages for 10 people, they didn't know how many would show up.. So Miles and his invites would be special guests throughout the night; drinks, food, and such already taken care of. All they had to do was show up and just experience the best dancing club on Terra, Hï Ibiza. The 18 looking year old Mephetian leaned up to nip at Miles right ear, then whisper, "Wow... Love.. just, Wow. Thank you sooo much.." She kissed the earlobe now, just enjoying Miles being there with her.

Smiling Miles reached over and hugged Sav close to him, breathing out softly, "No laughing at my dancing." Miles was wearing an interesting outfit for the night. His kilt for this evening bore the markings and colors of the Merlin. His shirt, if it could be called that, looked like a sleeveless chain mail shirt, although it was light and airy, it also showed off the burn scars on his back and upper arms. His shoes were short leather boots, that looked suspiciously like modified anti-grav units. The boots seemed to match his heavy black leather belt.

Sav churred gently as she whispered to him, "No promises.." with a light lilt on the end.

Mathias arrived carrying a couple of shirts over his arm, he wasn't certain just what the attire was going to be so he decided to bring a couple just in case to change into. This included a couple of pairs of pants. He had his dancing shoes on already. "Hey there, just how were we going to be dressing for this club, I wasn't certain so I brought some items to change into."

Miles looked Mathis up and down, "Well that depends, do you want to go home with someone, if so then show off your muscles young bard. If you're here to just to have fun, then dress how you want. I'm here to impress only one person (squeezes Sav), maybe not with my dancing skills ... hmmm ... I also don't sing well ... hmmm ... well having learned to drink Klingons under the table, maybe I'll be the one carrying her home." Miles is grinning the whole time he is conversing with Mathias, the mischievous one, which usually means he is up to something.

"I er don't plan on going home with someone tonight. Not that I plan on it." giving a bit of a chuckle.

Caroline arrived just in time to hear Rajel inform Mathias that if he wanted to go home with someone to show off his muscles. She wondered what his assessment of what she was wearing would be. She smoothed down her pink cowl neck minidress. She had opted for heels but could tell now she would be dancing round them later. Her hair was tossled now it was long enough up into a sophisticated knot. "Nobody said anything about singing," Caroline offered alerting them to her presence. "I'm going to need several shots in me before you can talk me into that."

She pulled one of Mathias's shirts off his arm then pressed it to him. "This one. It draws out your eyes. And if your looking to go home with a lady you need to do more than just flash your muscles. Talk to them. Make them laugh. Do that Mathias thing you do where we think we are the only beautiful woman in the universe. And you ......" she poked humorously the Cardassian, "We ladies are not that shallow thank you,"

Giving Caroline a short bow, Miles shook his head, "You've never courted a Klingon female ... they want to know what they get to play with..." Although Miles is teasing, Caroline and anyone else looking at his face can see him pale somewhat.

Mathias nodded towards Caroline, taking in the absolute beauty of the woman. She looked rather fine and sexy in her outfit. "Thank you." he said to her. "You look fantastic!"

If there was something that the former playgirl knew, it was how to dress for a nightclub! Hayley had glammed up something special for tonight, putting on heavy eye-shadow and seductive make-up in all the right places, a tight fitting white tank-top that sported a massive red-glitter heart in the middle, over which she wore a short blue-denim jacket that stopped just short of her mid-rift. A black sequin-covered mini-skirt with a black leather belt studded with gold studs and a large gold buckle, with black leather boots that came midway up her calves with a modest two-inch heel.

"Not many of us are daft enough to try and court a Klingon, Mathias." Hayley said, walking up behind him with a playful smirk. "Although, the female of the species invariably knows how to use her mouth to full advantage, regardless of which race they herald." She gave the bashful Science Officer a gentle caress down his arm. "Besides, I suspect you're used to coming home with whatever woman you so desire, aren't you playboy?"

At Hayley's comment, Mathias turned a bit red in his cheeks, "I am not going to say whether I have or have not." he chuckled self-consciously rubbing the back of his head. "When we get inside I'll change into this shirt" holding up the one Caroline chose. If he were to be going home with someone he'd love to have it be Caroline, but that would have to be at a later date, if there was a possibility. besides...They haven't had the chance to even have time to associate with each other since... the arboretum. He was also mindful of what he had told Sav, he was going to take is easy a little bit at a time. Friendship, he was going to strive for and hopefully something more?

The Doorperson waved the group through. The markers checked out and so the Cardassian with his party was Special VIP for this night. A Concierge, Caitian, came up to them and said, "Please, this way. I am to help you throughout your evening. My name is T'Renia. Over here is your personal Platform for the evening. Your choice who you invite on and off for dancing. There are five stories of bars to each side of the dance floor platforms. Please, enjoy." She continued on her way to the next VIP clients.

Caroline laughed inwardly despite herself. "Well I know how to use my mouth to full advantage. Round a drink. Especially if you people are planning on getting me singing later. I'll get them in shall I?" the blonde said heading in the direction of the bar to check out that situation.

Sav thought for a second, then requested, "A Sambuca please? Double pour?"

Looking at Sav, then Caroline, Miles shook his shoulders out, "Samarian Sunset for me please."

"A Samarian Sunset?" Mathias remarked, then looked at Caroline, "Whatever you bring for me. I'm going to go get changed and will join you in a few." giving a bow he turned and left to change.

"I'm young, I'm on leave, Sansa's with her folks, and I'm here to get loose and free! Bring me the most exciting cocktail you can order!" Hayley cheered.

Mathias returned, wearing a royal blue short sleeved button up shirt, Caroline had picked out. The shirt was soft to the touch, and one of his favourite styles. "There, comfortable and ready to dance." he stated with a smile.

Sav whistled at Mathias and stated, "Yah look good, Mathias. Ah get a dance, mm'kay?" She now hip bumped Miles with a grin and said, "As long asa me Beau is willin' tah share.."

"If Miles is willing to let me dance with you, then I'm not against it." answering with a grin, then looked at Miles, "Would it be alright with you?"

Miles looks from Mathias to Sav, then nods, "I guess so, no funny business mind you." He leans in and gives Sav a quick kiss before bumping her towards Mathias, "Go on love, have fun, just save some dancing for me."

Caroline returned a few minutes later after having what looked a like a fun conversation with the man behind the bar, with a tray in one hand and 3 sumerian sunsets, a double sambuca and scotch for Hayley. "Watch out for that barman," she said to Hayley. "He is rather fresh."

She started handing out drinks almost professionally.

"Oh, I don't mind them being flirty." Hayley replied, accepting the drink. "Thanks." She said. "As I say, they can be flirty, but if they get fresh, they get a black eye. That's all I'm saying..."

Mathias turned and accepted the sumerian sunset from Caroline, looking at the drink briefly, then into her eyes. "Is this the drink you had told me about? The one I should watch it be made?"

Upon overhearing this comment, Sav's demeanor changed as deep memories came to the fore. Without thinking, or realizing what she was doing, she focused upon her double Sambuca, brought it to her nose, took a multiple sniff, and next held it up to stare at it with light shining through the thick, clear liquor. Nothing bad found, she relaxed, and then the clubs sounds and her friends around her brought her out of her immediate reaction. She blushed, stepped to be partly hiding behind Mathias, and took time to calm down from her embarrassment of her action. She snorted in self-humor as she whispered to herself, "Yah, still sohme things tah work on."

Caroline responded to Mathias question watching Sav and wondering why she was acting so weird. She was about to get worried when she seemed to pull herself out of her strange behaviour and started muttering to herself. Maybe she didn't like the smell of the sambuca the blonde surmised. It didn't it seem stop her from knocking the liquer back.

"Yes. You don't need to watch it get made. You need to watch it when you do this," she offered him one of the small spoons left on the tray. Popped it down on a table and picked up her own drink. She smiled at him. No matter how many times she had one of these drinks this never got old. "Tap like this," she said and let the drink do its magic.

Mathias was amazed, delighted seeing what looked like just a clear glass of liquid turn into something so gloriously beautiful, the swirl of green, then the bright red, turning into the colors of a brilliant sunset. He stared at Caroline's glass then tapped his own glass, hearing the crystal bell like sound from it, and the same phenomena happening in his own glass. He felt himself become misty-eyed, at this show of beauty.

He looked up into Caroline's eyes, "Thank you." he breathed out in awe. Then lifted the glass in a toast towards her, before taking a drink.

Miles is staring at his glass, having tapped his glass, although his eyes are looking over the rim at Sav, he lifts it in a toast and downs it in one long gulp.

Sav is mesmerized by the drink changes. 'That is sooo awesome', she thinks to herself. She feels something, eyes upon her, and refocuses to find Miles having moved to be able to focus on her. She snorts in light humor as he downs his drink, then she takes a long sip from hers, but does not down it. One just doesn't down Sambuca, it is a sipping drink. She gently kicks him in the shin and states in a low voice, "You know I don't gulp my liquors, you brash, handsome rogue." Glancing around, she says, "I think I'm ready for a dance... when does it start?"

Looking somewhat abashed, Miles nodded, "There are DJ's playing on the upper two floors. This level won't start for a little while, someone else has the dance floor reserved for something. As to 'gulping' my liquor, you've obviously never drank a Klingon under the table."

Sav giggle-churred and replied, "Nope, nevuh have. Ah like sippin.. ana..." She paused in thinking about it, then said, "Yah know, ah haven't gotten drunk since gettin mah body back." She glanced at Caroline, then looked back to Miles and finished with, "Maybe ah will get drunk tonight as Ah am among friends.. depends on what Caroline says, ayuh."

Miles looked at Caroline and then back to Sav, "We can get you home safe. I've had my one 'hard' drink for the night." In fact, Miles flags down a waiter and asks for "hot earl grey tea with cream, sugar, and lavender essence please."

Caroline was not sure why Sav seemed to need her opinion or permission on what she chose to do in her personal life but she offered, "Personally I would take it steady but its your evening. Enjoy it how you decide."

Sav churr replied, "Sounds good, thank you." She giggled lightly, then looked up at Miles, "Been a long while fer me tah have duty driver, instead ofa me bein' it." She whispered so that only Miles could hear, "I trust you."

Miles sobered for a moment, then whispered back, "I trust you too ... now go have some fun ... I have some messages I need to attend to, then you'll get to witness the moves I call 'dancing'."

Mathias took another drink from the samarian sunset, finishing it off and setting it upon the area which collected used glasses, then looked at Caroline, Hayley and Sav then to Miles.

"Well, Ladies, and Gentleman. Once Miles gets his tea, let's go upstairs and dance." giving brilliant smile. "We're here to have a bit of fun, so lets do so." crooking both his arms towards Caroline and Hayley, "Shall we?"

Caroline smiled and took one of the offered arms. She popped her clutch under her other arm and scooped up her drink. She was taking it steady at least.

Seeing his tea was on its way over, Miles offered, "Caroline, you can leave your clutch here, I'll make sure no nefarious rogues run off with it, besides that'll give you a free hand and arm." Miles looks around to Mathias and winks.

"I take it you will be coming up shortly, Miles?" Mathias remarked, giving him a bit of a glance. "Just remember, never good to not dance with your lady love. And don't worry about how you dance, this is something to just enjoy life." giving the XO a smile. He looked at Hayley, Caroline, then to Sav, "Lets get to dancing!" leading the way up the stairs to where the dancing was taking place.

Where the dancing was happening the music pulsed through the air, and could even be felt through the soles of the feet. Mathias loved the ambience of the place and the music. This was going to be fun, his body already moving to the music and the beat.

"I'll keep it thanks," Caroline said to Rejal. "Your supposed to dance round the bag," she explained.

First throwing Miles a kiss, Sav followed up behind Mathias, Caroline, and Hayley. Once on the Platform, and since Mathias had to other girls already, Sav began dancing near Mathias, trying to get the ladies to form a circle with him for dancing. Then, whenever one lady wanted to get closer, they could with the other two dancing in a triangle arrangement with Mathias, the closer girl within all three dancing. She gladly just dancing, flowing into the music and enjoying life out and about with no worries, well, except one, how to make Miles look good dancing with her? She would figure out a way, she just knew it.

Caroline as predicted had removed her shoes and placed them on top of her clutch. She was a little unsteady up here on a platform which seemed to float off in different directions. She could however sense Sav was thinking too much about something. She knew what was bothering her.

"Don't worry about it. You don't need to make him look like Travolta in the ancient movies. Its just about having fun. No one else matters," she told her.

Mathias had to get his footing first, then his knowledge of snowboarding came into play, as he got more steady on his feet.

Once Miles finished with his messages, mostly setting up the proposal dinner, he called a waitress over. "I'm heading up to the dance floor, do you have something I can put my tea in to take with me?" Smiling she nods and runs off, a minute or two later she comes back, "This is programmed to float about four feet off the dance floor. Will this work?" Nodding Miles takes the flask, "Thank you." Nodding the waitress runs off to help another person. Pouring the last of his tea into the flask, he stands there looking at it. Finally he sighs, "Oh stop wasting time. Sav isn't going to make fun of you, she loves you." Growling more at himself than anyone else, Miles heads up to the dancing floor. Once there he spots Sav, Caroline, Haley, and Mathias. Watching the love of his life dancing he forgets his past endeavors and glides across the floor. Anyone watching him can tell he is using something skin to his martial arts techniques, but more in rhythm with the music. As Sav turns he reaches out to put his hands on her hips, and tries to make it look like he knows what he is doing. "Hello beautiful, come here often?"

Sav had smelled Miles coming her way. She was loving having none of the fuzziness of the poisoning within her. She prepares, not knowing exactly what he was going to do, only knowing she wanted to be with him tonight. After he makes his move, she places both of her arms up with hands on his shoulders, now short stepping to keep her hips moving and shifting with Miles hands upon her, and following up with an answer to his inquiry. "Why hello Handsome. I could come here often, if a strapping, young gorgeous male such as yourself frequents this haunt. As it is, I was invited by an officer of the ship I am attached to, but I think I like the off duty Male paying such attention to meself. Wanna Dance?"

"I do, I do." Miles looked at his feet for a moment then back up at Sav, "Just no laughing. My style of dancing is weird." Again, Miles follows the beats and flow of the music with his martial arts moves, it's definitely distinctive.

"Miles, those are great dance moves, you use the grace of your martial arts and your kata movements and you've got it made." Mathias remarked. Then turned his attention to Hayley and Caroline continuing to dance, weaving his way between them, and doing dance maneuvers he's done before when dancing with two partners.

Sav was trying to figure out why Miles thought his dancing was weird when Mathias answered him. Sav churred out in pleasure and added, "Ah agree witha Mathias. Yah dance well, m'love." She shifted to brush her whiskers over his nose and continued, "T'e way yah was tahlkin', Ah thought yah was goin' tah do t'e slow march." She shifted to allow him to move around her, and then she moved in to slide step around him. "Ah ama glad tah be disappointed in that, fer sure, ayuh."

Miles blushed at the compliments, he quietly murmured to Sav, "Not all the dance partners I've had would agree with either of you. However," Miles spins Sav so he's looking into her eyes for this part, "I am happy that you don't think I dance weird. I love watching you dance..." Realizing what he's said, Miles bursts into a major blush...

Sav churrs loudly as she suddenly jitterbugs to an intense shift in music. She tugs on Miles hand as she moves over to be near Mathias, Caroline, and Hayley, and then snuck her tail amidst them. She now yelled out, "Dance those moves, Mathias, show Caroline and Hayley your groove thing." Her wingman duties done, she moved Miles over to be more themselves. She did not realize she had done this as this was something she had done for the last 8 years, be a wing man for the girls who kept her for such, as well as being a duty driver. However, tonight, Sav was drinking more and expecting to just be herself, despite ingrained reactions.

Mathias laughed, as he just danced for the sheer enjoyment of it, getting into the songs that played. And also hoping that Caroline and Hayley were having fun.

During one of Sav's more 'boisterous' dance moves, Miles bows out to go drink some tea and take a breather, as dancing as long as he had was beginning to tire him. Once he gulped down some tea he's back at it though.

After several more minutes, Miles slides in behind Sav. In rhythm with her moves, Miles slides his hands around her hips, hugging her against him and he moves with her. Moving his head in close to her he murmurs, "You smell good, and feel good my luv, and damn, you can dance!"

Mathias after dancing a bit more looked at Hayley and Caroline, "Care to take a bit of a rest, and get something else to drink?" he looked over towards Sav and Miles. "They seem to be caught up in a world of their own." giving a bit of a chuckle.

For her part, Hayley had been quietly sipping her drink whilst enjoying Caroline's company. It was nice to spend time with her outside of a counselling setting. Whilst she was trying to relax, she'd been watching Mathias strut his stuff on the dance-floor along with Sav and Miles, giving her a few chuckles as a result. The whole scene had become a bit more lively as more and more revellers joined the fun. For her part, Hayley was concerned that more than a few people appeared to be either heavily intoxicated or under the influence of some narcotic. Could she really not turn off her cop-sense anymore? Considering she used to be one of those unrestrained revellers who got smashed and high, it felt wrong to judge.

"I'll take some water please," Caroline said to Mathias. She turned to Hayley. "Can't fully turn it off ehh?"

Sighing, Hayley gave Caroline a weak smile. "I'm that obvious huh?" She replied. "It's my job to look out for all of you, so yeah, I can't turn it off. I've experienced more than my fair share of reasons why I never should."

"So you and Sansa. Getting pretty serious? I'm just making girl talk," she said softly.

"It was a rough ride back there, not going to lie." Hayley replied. "But I think - hope - we've found our groove again. I can certainly tell she and I have strong chemistry and it's far more than a physical relationship. I'm cautiously optimistic."

Mathias went to the floor below to get some water, for Caroline and the same for him. He didn't want to drink anymore alcohol as he wanted to keep his wits about him for the next day. it took him a few minutes to get it, got to the floor where the rest of the party was, but then had to return to back down, as someone had taken the water he already had retrieved. He wove his way back to the upper floor, politely declining several invitations to dance and avoiding some grabby hands. He placed the water on the table where Hayley and Caroline were, and took a seat.

As time wore on, and Mathias watched those that were dancing, he seemed to get a bit, tense. His mind had gone from the revelry that was taking place at the dance club, to that of the next day. He had an appointment the next day, whale-watching with Fay/Sansa. Mathias got himself to relax, but now was thinking of a way to politely leave.

Sav would gently rest when Miles would get tired. She would point to another male when she wanted to dance again to make sure he approved of her dancing with another. She would also keep an eye out for female groupings as they would dance for the dance sake, or so she thought. On one female group of three, she hip bumped Miles and went to dance with them. After the dance, one Terran female whispered in Sav's ear, causing a deep blush and Sav to shake her head. She came back over to Miles, deeply embarrassed, and then told him, "Umm, she was wanting me to go home with her tonight, umm, sexually. Ah... was flattered, but ama only fer yah, ayuh. Ah hope yer okay witha this?"

Grinning, Miles grabs and spins Sav around, looking into her eyes when he is done, he huskily replies, "I am yours, you are mine, we need no one else."

Mathias finally made his decision and turned to Hayley and Caroline, "If you will excuse me, ladies I'm going to call it for the night. I don't think I am wholly into the festivities here. Maybe at a later time, perhaps, but not at the moment. Thank you for the Sumerian Sunset drink, Caroline and the dances from the two of you." Looking at both Hayley and Caroline.

He leaned over to where Miles was sitting and stated, "I've enjoyed the evening but am going to head out, thank you for inviting me. And it was lovely dancing with you and Sav."

Standing, Hayley smiled. "Mind if I walk back with ya?" She asked Mathias, giving Caroline a look as if to suggest that she should join.

"Yes we can flank you, make sure your safe," the counselor grinned picking up her bag. It was getting late and her ears couldn't take much more of the noise.

Mathias laughed, "I appreciate that, I wouldn't want to get kidnapped." he joked. "Let's go ladies." rising up to his feet. He had a great time, but he was certainly ready for the evening to end feeling a bit tired.

Miles realized that the others were wanting to leave. Feeling a bit tired himself, he stretched and looked at Sav, "What do you think beautiful, a walk by the river before we go back to our room in the woods?" Miles looked around for a minute, then spotted his floating tea glass. Reaching out he grabbed it and popped the top, "Yup still hot. That lavender essence really helps me when my brain is fuzzy my dear." Saluting Sav he downed his tea.

Sav noticed the preparations of the others, churr-giggled, nodded, and replied, "Yes, I would love that. Let me get a Sambuca to go and we can leave." She leaned up to give him a kiss, "Thanks for this very charming evening, my Prince."

Miles grinned, "I should be thanking you. You're the first woman to actually dance with me and not think I was a weirdo." Miles looked around and caught the attention of a waiter, "Two Sambuca's to go please." Miles then looked at Sav, "What did I just order myself?"

"A liquor made of Elderberry, Licorice, and other spices to form an Ambrosia of taste." She touched his nose, "Try it. For most, you either love the taste or can't stand it. If you can't, I'll finish it. After all, you're my duty driver tonight, right?"

Once their drinks arrived, Miles sniffed his, then took a small drink. "Not bad, but as you said, I'm your escort for the evening, so if you're a good girl you can have this later." Miles is all grins as he hides the to-go cup behind his back.
