ON:

Bridge, USS Pegasus

Melody had come up to the bridge for their arrival at Deep Space 21 at the kind allowance of Captain Griffiths.

"Captain, we're being hailed by Deep space 21."

Captain Griffiths stood up. "Open a channel. Greeting Captain Keiben. This is Captain Griffiths of the USS Pegasus. We've got the USS Merlin in tow destined for your dry dock facilities. We've also got the crew on board who could do with some quarters assigned to them."

"Acknowledged Captain. My engineering teams are standing by and the dry dock facility is standing ready. Please inform Captain Jones that we have quarters set aside for her crew to enjoy during their stay!"

"Captain Jones is here right now.." He motioned for Melody to speak.

"Greetings Captain Haistro. Looks like it's your turn to rescue us this time. Thank you for your hospitality. I'll come and see you as soon as the Pegasus is docked.

"I look forward to catching up with you soon. When you are in range..." Keiben paused a moment and he looked down, no doubt inspecting his console. "Upper pylon three is waiting for Pegasus to arrive!"

"Acknowledged, Upper Pylon three. Pegasus out." Captain Griffiths responded. "Helm, adjust course to Upper pylon three and prepare for docking."

Pete "Maverick" Mitchell sat in his quarters aboard the Pegasus as it made its way into dock. He watched the station beyond his window and sighed heavily. He was surrounded by unopened luggage. His belongings having been transferred over from the Iwo Jima. Pete like most pilots did not like being idle. They were born to fly and seemed to have a nervous energy about them that constantly flowed. "I hope they can get the ship fixed soon. I would hate to sit in dock for too long." He whispered.

Holodeck 3

Every part of Anya ached from the events of the last few days. She had bruises on top of bruises from the initial impact to the clunky spacesuit and any number of other lumps and bumps she had sustained. She had known that the Captain wanted to speak to her but she needed time on Merlin when it arrived at drydock so she could remove the medical supplies before the refit and repair... Right now though was Anya time. Well, Anya and Liodra.

The simulation around them was of a very high end spa on Risa. Two very athletic gentlemen were massaging Anya's legs while she had a cucumber face mask on with two bits of fruit, one covering each eye. Liodra, on the other hand, was submerged to her neck in a thick, sweet smelling mud while sipping on a large cocktail with far too many paper umbrellas sticking out of it.
"Li... If anyone calls from the bridge... just tell them I've died. I don't want to move!"

Gregor stood by the exit waiting for the ship to dock and the door to open. He was a bundle of nerves and was looking forward to getting off the ship. He had places to be and someone to meet.

Gregor met up with a woman who threw her arms around him and they talked for a few minutes. He went down to one knee and came back up and she hugged him again, they then departed and went deeper into the station and were lost from sight.

Seklar was sat on the floor, one of his old cats cradled in his lap. He was watching the twins play with the other cat and he wasn't quite sure how to feel. Once again he had to unsettle his family, and he couldn't predict how much more often he'd have to do it again. Yet, the twins seemed happy enough, they didn't seem too phased by the sudden evacuation. What did bother him though, was that right now he had no choice but to sit idle. There was no way he'd be permitted to even show his face in Pegasus' engineering in an attempt to be useful. He was very certain of that so...he sat and minded the cat in an attempt to settle his own thoughts.

USS Pegasus, Medical Bay

Scarlet gritted his teeth and took another shaky step while leaning against the cane. "I learned once, I'll do it again."

Kyhl sighed in frustration. "For the last time! You don't have to! Medical techniques have advanced since your injury. You can get full function of your legs back."

Scarlet scoffed. "They work fine." He took another step toward the door as he grumbled. "I'll be fine in a few days."

Kyhl walked quickly to block the stubborn Marine. "If your legs worked fine, you'd have felt the pain from the wounds causing you to bleed out and you wouldn't have passed out at your post!" She crossed her arms over her chest. "What is your problem? Are you afraid of doctors or something?"

His eyes widened before his face changed to a scowl. "I did my duty, and I will continue to do so once I recover. I am not afraid of you Doc, I just don't need you." He stood as tall as he could on his shaky legs. "Now move."

"Fine." Kyhl said as she moved aside and motioned to the door. "But this isn't over by a long shot."

Still leaning on his cane, Scarlet walked out of the door to gather his things for the next move.

Caroline woke up from her nap and smiled at Mathias who was comfortable on a sofa in the corner. "Sorry about that. I keep getting shattered. First trimester is always the hardest."

"It is alright love, I ended up taking a nap as well." Mathias as he regarded his lovely fiancée Caroline. "We need to make some plans." he remarked, "What do you want to do for the wedding?"

"So the wedding. Gran cannot make the trip. And mum and the rest of the family are caring for her, so I was thinking ... with their blessing of course. Why don't we ask the Admiral to marry us at Deep Space 21?"

"I think that is a brilliant idea, my parents will be at the wedding and will be recording the ceremony, this way your folks will be able to see it." he had wonder in his eyes. "The admiral, do you think he'll say yes. It would be grand for that to happen. " sitting up from where he had been lying down, his ginger colored hair a bit messed up with some strands sticking up.

His lank form rose from the couch and made his way towards the replicator, "Would you like something to eat?"

That was when he realized that they were arriving at DS21. "Or let's go out and have dinner at one of the restaurants on the Promenade." giving a smile

Bridge, USS Pegasus

The operations officer reported. "Docking complete Captain."

"Thank you, Lieutenant. Disengage all engines." The captain replied.

Melody stood. "Thank you for the rescue Captain. I owe you one. I'll take my leave now."

Captain Griffiths came over and shook her by the hand. "Any time Captain Jones."

Just before Melody left the bridge, she overhead the officer at ops report "Sir you better take a look at this."

The Captain went over to him and mused aloud "That's a strange temporal reading, any indication of what's causing it?"

"It seems to be coming from the station." The Lieutenant reported.

"Are we or the station in any danger?"

"No sir, it seems to be dissipating."

The Captain straightened his uniform "Well keep an eye on it. I'm sure Captain Haistro will have an explanation."

That was the last thing Melody heard before the turbolift doors snapped shut.
