Elias entered sickbay looking around for the doctor. He was there for one of the many tiresome things that a new officer had to do. He had to have a physical. He didn't really mind all that much, it was the sitting in one place that he wasn't very happy about. Elias located her in short time. "You wanted to see me doctor?"
"Thought you might like to get the formalities out the way Lieutenant," Caroline grinned. "Take a seat. How's your arm? Tera said it was sprained when she met you at the Round table."
Elias grinned, taking the seat. "Yes well it's what I get for acting."
"I noticed in your file," Caroline said casually as she ran her tricorder over him, "that you grew up in Cornwall near Tintagel Castle. Wasn't that alleged to be King Arthur's birthplace and near the cave where Nimue trapped the wizard Merlin?"
"It is indeed. The entire region is covered in the legend of Arthur and his Knights. The cave is one of my favorite places visit when I'm home. The castle however is not. Don't get my wrong, it's a great historical site. I just feel like I'm being watched all the time I'm there. "
"I love medieval history," Caroline said her eyes dreamy for a second. "I never got a chance to visit that castle though. Or the cave. I was thinking of a holoprogramme one day. So who do you thinks watching you?" she asked as she checked his blood pressure.
"I really don't know. Logically I know that nothing is, but it just feels like it. I just get the chills sometimes. Other than that, the land is a beautiful place to be."
"The nurses thinking the painting in one of the isolation rooms is watching them too," Caroline told him as she took his chloestral and mineral levels.
"Are you having any problems with anything Lieutenant?" she asked.
"No, just the arm." He replied watching her. "How long have you been on the Merlin?"
Caroline smiled, as she did a detailed scan of his arm. "About a week longer than you. I'm still settling in. How are you finding things?"
"I'm still getting accustomed to the size of the ship. It's like a mini starbase. The marine facilities are pretty impressive."
"Is this your dorminant arm? You seem to have a strength imbalance. It's weaker than your other. Easier to sprain. I can give you some exercises to build it up," she told him. "Otherwise you seem to be in excellent health." She said impressed for a marine. Normally they were some of her worst customers.
"No it's not." He replied feeling relieved. What type of exercise do you have in mind?"
"Oh just your usual strength building ones. Mainly focusing on your bicep," Caroline nodded. "I'll send you a programme. Right then, I am more than happy to sign you off for duty. Can I help you with anything else?"
"No Doctor, and thank you for your time." Elias said standing. "But if I think of anything I'll let you know. If you ever have some free time, come down to marine country and I'll show you around."
"Sounds fun," Caroline said powering down her device. "Your free to go Lieutenant."
